MARION — The Buzzards Bay Musicfest will celebrate its 25th Season with a lineup of chamber, orchestral and swing performances from Wednesday, July 12 to Sunday, July 16. 

The Buzzards Bay Musicfest takes place at the Fireman Performing Arts Center at Tabor Academy. 

The festivities will open on July 12 with a concert under the baton of returning conductor Antony Walker. 

Other highlights of the five performances scheduled during the week include chamber music performances on Thursday, July 13, and Saturday, July 15, the Buzzards Bay Musicfest Swing Band on Friday, July 14, and a second chamber orchestra concert on Sunday, July 16. 

"This is a momentous year for us, and we're thrilled to be celebrating our 25th season," said Trudy Kingery, Buzzards Bay Musicfest founder and honorary chairperson. "We're looking forward to bringing our audiences the very best in classical music, and we can't wait to share our ‘Season of Celebration’ with our community."
