MARION — The Marion Arts Center is asking poets to submit their poems for the second half of ArtWeek’s upcoming “Poetry Knockout.” 

The event will take place Friday, May 3 from 7 to 9 p.m at the Marion Art Center.

Submitted poems should be about nature, love, society, immortality or religion. 

Pre-approved poets can attend the event for free, but audience members must pay $10 per person. 

Original poems for the knockout be submitted to marionartcenter@verizon.net.
