Campfire stories, both mild and scary, to be told at library

MARION — Campfire stories, one for children and another scarier version for teens and adults, will be held July 8 and 9 at Elizabeth Taber Library, 8 Spring St., Marion. 

Campfire stories for kids will be read by storyteller Rona Leventhal at 6 p.m. Friday, July 8. The event is suitable for children of all ages.

“Into the Dark: Stories from the Shadows’’ will take place at 6:30 p.m. July 9. These scary campfire stories are aimed at teens and adults and will also be presented by Leventhal. 

Both storytimes are sponsored by the Marion Cultural Council.
