Candidates' Night in Marion May 1
The Tri-Town League of Women Voters will hold a Candidates’ Night on May 1 at 7 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall on Front Street.
There are several contested races in this year’s election. For a seat on the Board of Selectmen, challengers William Dale Jones and Edwin North will face incumbent John Henry. For a position on the Board of Health, Kerry Reynolds will face incumbent Albin Johnson III.
The Planning Board has two open positions with three individuals on the ballot. Challengers Jerry Ferrari and Norman Hills will face incumbent Sherman Briggs Jr. The Old Rochester Regional School Committee has one position open with Michelle Ouellette and Linda Harju vying for a spot. And, the Open Space Acquisition Commission has two openings with three candidates seeking office, Geoffrey Paul Moran and incumbents John Rockwell and Randy Parker.
Incumbent Bradford Eames is running unopposed for Assessor. Incumbent David Titus is running unopposed for Moderator and Christine Ann Marcolini is running unopposed for the Marion School Committee.
