MATTAPOISETT – State and local Republican candidates will have their chance at the podium in an upcoming candidates night.

The Mattapoisett Republican Party will host the event on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library, 7 Barstow St. Candidates will address the audience individually and answer questions. Campaign literature will be available. 

Scheduled candidates include:

• Jay McMahon, Attorney General
• Rayla Campbell, Secretary of State
• Dan Sullivan, Representative for District 9
• Sandra Wright, Plymouth County Commissioner
• Jeff Swift, 10th Bristol State Representative
• Bob McConnell, 10th Bristol State Representative
