This event has been canceled due to a snow storm predicted to hit the region on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

MATTAPOISETT — It’s been three years since the Mattapoisett Congregational Church held its Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, but the event will return on Tuesday, Feb. 13. 

Join the Mattapoisett Congregational Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Reynard Hall, 27 Church St. for a meal of pancakes, sausage, toppings and drinks. Donations will be accepted to help support the church. 

According to the church, “Shrove Tuesday is a day of celebration as well as penitence, because it’s the last day before Lent.”
