MARION — Sippican Lands Trust is hosting walks every month during 2024 in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

April’s 50th anniversary walk will be Sunday, April 7 at 9:30 a.m. The walk will meet at the Hoff Property parking lot and begin at the Hoff Property. It will then pass through some of Sippican Lands Trust’s parcels in Aucoot Woods. Attendees should wear sensible shoes, as trails may be wet.

While this walk is part of a 50th anniversary celebration series, Sippican Lands Trust is hosting a variety of other walks to fill up passbooks, which are stamped in order to receive credit for walks. Whoever can surpass or come closest to walking 50 miles in 2024 can expect a prize.
