Center School students 'Twinkle and Shine'

Santa Claus wanted something special this year, so Center School students put together a living Christmas tree complete with a magic star topper.
The kids performed the musical “Twinkle and Shine” for students visiting from Old Hammondtown on Monday afternoon in the gym.
The play featured Santa’s elves trying out different things to put on top of the tree, including a skunk and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, which didn’t work out too well.
Following their efforts, a star magically appeared and Santa deemed it perfect for the tree.
In addition to Santa, the elves, reindeer and other performers, the play featured performances from the first and second grade students who sang.
