Get your hot chocolate and festive sweaters ready. Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester will each host a holiday event early in December.

The town of Rochester will host a tree lighting on Monday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m at Rochester Town Hall. The event will feature a Christmas carol sing-a-long. Rochester Town Hall is located at 1 Constitution Way.

Mattapoisett will host “Holiday in the Park” on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Shipyard Park. At last year’s event, the Mattapoisett Lions Club collected canned goods and toys to be donated. Holiday in the Park also has catering provided by local restaurants.

March down the streets of Marion at the town’s annual Christmas Village Stroll on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. At previous events, Marion business owners provided attendees with food, drinks and activities.
