MARION — The First Congregational Church will host a Holiday Luncheon and Cookie Walk on Dec. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

Participants can come as part of the Sippican Woman’s Club Holiday House Tour, or just come by. Door prizes will be offered. The luncheon features the church’s signature hot chicken salad, with cranberry compote, assorted homemade breads, beverages, plus cheesecake and topping for dessert. Lunch costs $10. Tickets will be available at the door.

A cookie walk will be held at the same time as the luncheon.  Church bakers will offer holiday cookies in beautifully-decorated boxes. The cost for a dozen cookies is $10.

The Holiday Luncheon and Cookie Walk will be held on the second floor of The First Congregational Church Community Center, 144 Front Street. The building is equipped with a stairlift and located at the rear of the Marion General Store parking lot. Parking is available at the back right of the lot, plus there is additional parking at Island Wharf.

Proceeds from the Holiday Luncheon and Cookie Walk benefit The First Congregational Church of Marion, its programs and missions.
