Church's summer fair set for July 27

The Super Duper Summer Fair at First Congregational Church of Marion will be held Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Fairgoers can bid on items at a silent auction and the mystery pound auction. Home baked goods, candy, cheese, fresh picked local blueberries, scallop casseroles and other prepared foods are on sale.

Lobster rolls and chicken salad wraps will be available at the Chapel Café. Swordfish, hot dogs and hamburgers can be found at the Sidewalk Grill.

For children, crafts, games, and a bounce house are available. Attendees can listen to music from the  “Show Stoppers,” “Harpoon Harmonizers,” “Three Buoys and a Gull,” and other bands.

Shoppers can scour the White Elephant and Fine Gifts tables for treasures. For information go to www.marionfirstchurch.org. The church is located at 28 Main St., in Marion.
