Clean up Mattapoisett, celebrate Arbor Day

Mattapoisett groups will be working with volunteers on April 22 to clean up the town before celebrating Arbor Day on April 28.
On April 22 the committee is teaming up with the Mattapoisett Lions Club, Woman’s Club and Land Trust to clean up the town. The clean up runs from 10-1 p.m., after which there will be activities, music and refreshments until 2 p.m.
The Mattapoisett Tree Committee and tree warden worked in collaboration with selectmen to observe Arbor Day to maintain the town’s Tree City USA status. Mattapoisett has been a Tree City for nine years.
