College graduation announcements
The following tri-town college students have graduated from their respective college and universities this month.
At UMass Dartmouth during the May 13 and 14 commencement ceremonies, the graduates were: Isaak Akins, Samuel Asci, Connor Bailey, Mikayla Florio, Crystal Gleason, Jacob Jaskolka, Margaret LeBrun, Morgan Matthews, Megan Merlo, John Middleton, Amanda Munroe, Jennifer O'Neil, Sarah Rocha, Connie Root, Blake Rusinoski, Devin Sprague, Izak Thuestad, Jillian Zucco of Mattapoisett; Joshua Correia, Bruce Fox, Jillian Grota, Amber Roderick, Kristofer Sadeck, Holly Stickles, Linda Zaunere of Marion; and Melissa Dougall, William Flaherty, Jason Galary, Stephanie Glidden, ToniAnne Kennefick, Lauren O'Brien, Maggie Pelletier, Patricia Potter, Brendan Wasylow of Rochester.
Additionally, Marigloria Murphy of Mattapoisett received an MBA from UMass Dartmouth Charlton College of Business during the commencement ceremony.
Greg Sethares of Marion received a PhD in educational leadership and policy studies PhD degree from the UMass Dartmouth School of Education.
Cheryl Donovan and Sonja Valle-Gormley, both of Mattapoisett, graduated from the UMass Dartmouth School of Law.
Eileen Marum received a master’s degree in professional writing from UMass Dartmouth's College of Arts and Sciences.
Sophia Finocchi of Rochester graduated from Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday, May 7, earning a bachelor of science in nursing. Finocchi graduated cum laude as a member of Colby-Sawyer's Nursing Honor Society.
Graduating senior Erin Murphy of Marion received the provost’s Major Qualifying Project Award for the Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s civil engineering department. Murphy was recognized for a project titled “Gateway Student Center.” The annual award recognizes the most outstanding MQPs completed by WPI students.
Isabel Grover of Marion graduated from Emerson College on May 8 with a bachelor's degree in writing for film and TV.
