Come up roses and create custom floral arrangements

MARION — Stop and smell the roses at the Marion Art Center’s “Art in Bloom” event.

All participants can create striking floral arrangements inspired by art at the center from now until June 18. These floral pieces will be displayed until June 18, with a free reception taking place on Thursday, June 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Participants will be able to choose one art piece on display to inspire their floral creation, with only one designer or team per artwork. Designers are encouraged to bring their own stand or pedestal of "appropriate size and height” for their arrangement.

The event will take place at the Marion Art Center at 80 Pleasant Street.
