Council on Aging to offer health and wellness program

The Rochester Council on Aging will offer the 12-week health and wellness "Aging Mastery Program" free of charge beginning in March.
The program comes through the National Council on Aging with the help of a grant through the MetLife Foundation and is offered through the Massachusetts Council on Aging.
The program's modules include physical fitness, communication with your doctor, fall prevention, Medicare prevention benefits, healthy eating and planning for the future.
The program will be open to adults 55 and older from any community.
Rochester COA Director Sharon Lally said the exact start date will be available soon.
