Cow Chip Bingo returns to the Rochester Country Fair. This country-style fundraising event will take place on Thursday, Aug. 15 at the new fairgrounds located at 65 Pine St. in Rochester.  Gates open at 4 p.m. and the cows are released at 8 p.m. Participants are randomly assigned a horizontal and vertical coordinate on the Cow-Chip-Bingo game board.

If your square is the first to receive a cow “plop” than you’ve won. Second and third place winners are awarded too. Prizes of $500, $300 and $200 will be awarded in that order. Each parcel costs $5. Tickets will be sold in advance only and will not be sold at the fair. A complete list of rules and other event information can be found on the fair’s website www.rochesterma.com.
