Crafting new possibilities: Elizabeth Taber Library to launch Makerspace

MARION — The Elizabeth Taber Library is all set to launch its brand-new Makerspace. The new space will include a new in-library and circulating crafting equipment, such as sewing and embroidery machines and paper and laser cutters.

The Makerspace is supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

The launch of the space will be on Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Elizabeth Taber Library and will include giveaways, demos and crafts.
