Crafts galore at the Elizabeth Taber Library

Mar 15, 2021

MARION— The Elizabeth Taber Library has a number of activities and resources available for kids and adults this March.

Crafty adults can learn to embroider with a Take and Make activity. The library provides the materials, and adults can learn from a video tutorial on Creative Bug. Included in the embroidery kit is an embroidery hoop, thread, needles, an erasable pen and fabric. Crafters will need their own scissors and an iron. Supplies are limited.

To sign up for a time to pick up a kit or for assistance with Creative Bug, call the library at 508-748-1252.

New to the Library of Things is a beginner’s pottery wheel that can be borrowed from the library. The kit includes a plug-in, foot-pedal-driven pottery wheel along with air dry clay and modeling tools. The kit is suitable for anyone ages seven to adult.

A complete catalog of the Library of Things is available on the library’s website at www.elizabethtaberlibrary.org.

New story time videos for kids are posted regularly to the Children and Middle Reads section of the library website.
