Creative students bring color to cafeteria walls

Color the World with Kindness, a message on the cafeteria walls, reflects the mission of the Kindness Crew.
Bringing the wall to life, one brush stroke at a time.

MARION — Cafeteria staff at Sippican School recently made a request: They thought that more color in their work space would brighten everyone’s days.
The Kindness Crew stepped in to make that wish a bright reality.
Art teacher Erin Kirk, who supports the crew along with enrichment teacher Chelsey Lawrence, designed a colorful mural.
Then the crew, a group of responsible sixth grade volunteers, put their talent and energy toward bringing the design to colorful life.
They painted the mural as part of their after-school program, ACE, After School Enrichment, which is run by VASE, Volunteers at Sippican Elementary.
