Daniel V. "Salty" Solimini, 65, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday Dec. 17, 2020.

 

Born in Quincy, he was the son of the late Vito and Annette (Lange) Solimini.

 

Daniel was a proud Italian family man who loved building Harley-Davidson motorcycles. 

 

Daniel served in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1975.

 

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Bottari and her husband Michael, and Kristin Crippin and her husband Derek all of Marion; his sisters, Diane Burns, Elaine Walls, Kimberly LaClair, and Paula Rose; and his grandchildren Sophia and Adam Crippin, and Lennox Bottari. He also leaves behind his dog Rocky, who was his best friend.

 

His urn burial will take place Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 11:15 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. His arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. For the online guestbook please visit saundersdwyer.com
