MATTAPOISETT — Town Meeting will be held on Monday, May 10, and the last date to file warrant articles will be April 5, according to a March 24 Board of Selectmen meeting.

Selectmen agreed the opportunity to file warrant articles to be considered at the Town Meeting will close at 4 p.m. on April 5. Any petitioned article must be accompanied by 10 signatures and turned in to the Town Clerk’s office by close.

“Wet signatures. It can’t be emailed,” Town Administrator Michael Lorenco said clarifying all signatures must be attained in person.
