Dianne Y. (Cormier) Rua, 64
Dianne Y. (Cormier) Rua, 64, of Tiverton, Rhode Island died February 6 at home after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Frank D. Rua.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph Cormier and Jean (Langevin) Cormier-Parent, she lived in Mattapoisett for more than 30 years before moving to Tiverton, Rhode Island in 2001.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and granddaughter, crocheting and crafts.
Her family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Nancy McKinney and staff at Hudner Oncology at St. Anne's Hospital and her hospice nurse, Paul Methot, and staff at Southcoast Hospice for their care and compassion.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Keith Rua of Boston and Kevin Rua and his wife Melanie of New Bedford; a daughter, Kelly Rua and her fiancée, Brandon Richard, of Lakeville; a granddaughter, Taylor Richard.
Her visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 10, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with her Funeral Service at 4 p.m. in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett.
