The Bulldogs closed their basketball season with a 27-70 loss against Fall River’s Bishop Connolly High School.

The defeat came at the end of a tough season for the Old Rochester Regional  High School varsity boys, who had an overall record of 6-14.

With only two seniors on the team, Coach Steve Carvalho anticipated a difficult season.

“We’re very inexperienced at the varsity level,” Carvalho said early in the season. “We’re a work in progress.”

The Bulldogs were up against some tough competition as well this season, said Carvalho.

“The league is tough. It’s a dark fight,” he said.

Next year, the team hopes to see more success. “The whole team has good chemistry off the court and on the court,” said team captain Chris Marchisio.
