Dispose of medications at Rochester police station
Oct 15, 2013
Residents now have a safe, secure location to dispose of prescription medication due to a collaboration between the Rochester Police Department, the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, the Sheriff’s Department, and the Department if Public Health.
Any Rochester resident may bring unwanted, unused or expired medicine to the police station 24 hours a day, seven days a week and deposit the drugs in a “MedReturn” box located in the lobby.
The service is not for use by businesses or clinics. Accepted items include; prescriptions, prescription patches, prescription and over the counter medications, vitamins, ointments, and pet medications.
