The Dixie Diehards Jazz Band is making its eighth appearance at the Marion Art Center on Saturday April 27 with a concert entitled “Salute to Jelly Roll Morton.”

This concert will feature the musical works of Ferdinand “Jelly Roll” Morton, including some of his most famous jazz standards. The Diehards will also provide commentary on Morton’s life, his influences, and background for some of his songs in the program.

Tickets are $12.50 for members and $15 for non-members. Cabaret tables will be set up to for reserved parties of 4.
