The Mattapoisett town clerk's office is reminding owners of unlicensed dogs to get them licensed. Dogs may be licensed by calling or visiting the town clerk's office at Town Hall. Those who no longer have a dog should also contact the office to have the pet removed from the list.

The next step for owners of unlicensed dogs is a court summons.
