Eleanor H. (Harding) Warner, 89, of Marion died Friday, July 22, 2011 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the wife of the late Frantz L. Warner.

Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Louis B. and Eleanor B. (Rudloff) Harding. Mrs. Warner graduated from Beaver Country Day School and Pine Manor Junior College. During World War II, Mrs. Warner drove an ambulance for the City of Boston, and built two way radios.

A homemaker, Mrs. Warner was a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Marion, The Kittansett Club and the Marion Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, reading and golf.

She is survived by her children, Eric R. Warner of Wareham, Lawrence L. Warner of Marion, Eleanor Kimball Schaller of Natick and Pamela B. Warner of Pasadena, CA; her grandchildren, Amy Warner Larkin, Cameron Warner, Ian Warner and Alison Warner; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, the late Sherrill Warner Scullin.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 31st at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 124 Front St., Marion at 12:00 Noon.
