To the Editor:

I am supporting Jennifer Francis for the Marion Planning Board for the following reasons. She shows initiative and is an active and contributing member of our community. As a member of the Energy Management Committee, Jennifer worked effectively and efficiently with various town officials, and she was instrumental in formulating our solar bylaws that were approved at Town Meeting.

Jennifer does her homework and comes to all Energy Management Committee meetings prepared. As we create our master plan, Jennifer’s work ethic and research and communication skills will be an asset on the Planning Board.  Her experience analyzing and finding innovative solutions to complex problems is outstanding.

Jennifer is an inspiration. She has the courage to do what is right. Jennifer is courteous, polite and civil to everyone, and she listens to others and tries to understand their points of view. In my opinion, the above qualities make Jennifer an excellent candidate for the Planning Board.
