Election deadline calendar for Tri-Town

Election season is here and deadlines have been set for the Tri-Town.

In Marion, the last day to register for Town Meeting and the town election is Tuesday, April 19. The Town Clerk’s office will be open that day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

The last day to publish the Town Meeting warrant is Monday, May 2. 

The annual Town Meeting will be held at 6:45 p.m. Monday, May 9 at Sippican School, 16 Spring St. 

The annual town election will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13 at the Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center, 465 Mill St.

In Mattapoisett, the last day to file nomination papers for the town election is Tuesday, March 29. April 14 is the last day to withdraw nomination papers.

The last day to register to vote in the town election is Wednesday, April 27. The Town Clerk’s office will be open that day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

The town election will take place Tuesday, May 17 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Old Hammondtown School, 20 Shaw St.

The last day to publish the warrant for Town Meeting will be Monday, May 2. Annual Town Meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 9 at Old Rochester Regional High School, 135 Marion Road.

In Rochester, the last day to obtain and submit nomination papers is Wednesday, April 6.  

Friday, April 22 is the last day to withdraw nomination papers.

The last day to register to vote is Thursday, May 5. Registration will be available until 8 p.m.

The deadline for absentee ballot applications is Tuesday, May 24.

Annual town election is Wednesday, May 25.

For the Town Meeting, the last day to register to vote is Tuesday, May 3. 

Monday, May 14 is the deadline for the posting of the Town Meeting warrant. 

The annual Town Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 23 at Rochester Memorial School, 16 Pine St.
