Emergency shelter open in Rochester
Due to the storm, the Rochester Police have opened an emergency shelter and warming station at the Rochester Senior Center at 76 Dexter Lane.
Residents are asked to bring essential items including a blanket, pillow, and any medications they may need if they have to go to the shelter. At this time, the shelter is not able to accommodate pets. If you need to utilize shelter services and need assistance please call 508-763-8723.
The police are asking that residents call NSTAR customer service direct at 1-800-592-2000 for all non-emergency power outages. If you experience a power outage that is urgent in nature such as wires down or need power for medical reasons, call 911.
