Emmalina Scrooge to play at Marion Art Center

MARION — Emmalina Scrooge, written by Steph DeFerie and directed by Jennifer Palmer will be presented at the Marion Art Center on Dec. 6,7,13,14 and 15.

All Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7:30 p.m., while the Sunday, December 15 matinee will begin at 2 p.m.

The play features a young Emmalina Scrooge, who gets a visit from Charles Dickens, two ghostly sisters, and the spirit of her thrice great-grandfather, who try to persuade her away from her negative mindset.

The cast includes: Lily Ambrosi, Genevieve Arone, Jack Boesen, Lee Bonia, Lily Bonia, Alane Carbone, Holden Campbell, Edie Dupre, Molly Dupre, Jackson Gillman, Suzie Kokkins, Thomas O’Shaughnessy, Zoe Pateakos, Angela Pedulli, Christian Pedulli, and Grace Ripley. Crew includes Andrea Cantin, Steve McManus, and Frank Mitchell.

Tickets are on sale now to art center members for $18, and can be purchased in person or by phone.  Beginning Friday, Nov. 15, tickets will be available online and to nonmembers for $20. The art center is offering a special price of $12 for children aged twelve and under.
