Encore for Friends of Rochester Music concert after absence

A variety of music was presented at the concert.

MATTAPOISETT — The annual Friends of Old Rochester Music instrumental concert took place March 15 for the first time since spring 2019.
Selections were presented by performers from Sippican School, Old Hammondtown School, Rochester Memorial School, Old Rochester Regional Junior High School grades 7 and 8, Old Rochester Regional High School and the Old Rochester district concert band.
Each of the music directors conducted their respective students during the all-district finale performance of "Grand Ole Flag" and "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.
Upcoming concerts include A Night of Jazz, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 12 and the spring concert on May 11 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Friends of Old Rochester Music is a non-profit organization that provides support for music programs and students.
