With helicopters circling, the kids of the Extremengineers wrapped up their summer of engineering at Mattapoisett Library.
Led by Dr. Martin Hudis, a physicist and former University of Massachusetts Dartmouth instructor, kids learned about basic engineering and problem solving.
For their grand finale on Tuesday, July 31, the kids tested their launch pads made mostly of index cards, by balancing remote control helicopters and books on them.
