The individual has not been in school since Oct. 23. Test results came in on Oct. 25, and the school district was immediately notified. The person is self-isolating in accordance with state and federal covid protocols.

All schools continued with their normal schedules on Monday, Oct. 26, including the Old Rochester Regional Junior and Senior High Schools, at the recommendation of the Mattapoisett Board of Health.

All schools will continue to be cleaned at the end of every day and as needed. Superintendent Nelson and Mattapoisett officials continue to urge all families and residents to remain vigilant about social distancing, wearing masks in public and practicing proper hygiene.
