Fire away: Artist Kim Savoie to host flameworking workshops at Elizabeth Taber Library

Apr 8, 2025

MARION — Massachusetts glass artist Kim Savoie will host three different flameworking workshops on select Saturdays in May at the Elizabeth Tabor Library for participants ages 10 and older.

A bead making session will take place on Saturday, May 3 where participants will torch and design their own glass beads.

On Saturday, May 24, a pendant making session will take place where class attendees will make their own “one-of-a-kind glass pendant” made from torching molten glass.

The final session on Saturday, May 31 will feature straw making. Each participant will make their own reusable glass straw using a torch to shape the design.

Six slots are available for each class session, with registration available by calling the library at 508-748-1252.

No experience is required for these workshops.
