ROCHESTER — A two-day book sale in the first week of fall is coming to Rochester.
The Friends of Plumb Library will be holding a book sale Friday, Sept. 27 from 12 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Joseph H. Plumb Memorial Library is located at 17 Constitution Way.
The book sale will offer “bargain prices on books, games and puzzles,” according to Friends of Plumb Library.
It will be held in the library’s downstairs program room. The Plumb Library Youth Group will also be holding a simultaneous bake sale Saturday.
Beginning Sept. 3, book donations will be accepted during open hours at the library. Do not place donations in the book drop.
On the following Saturday, Oct. 5, Friends of Plumb Library will sponsor a clothing drive in conjunction with Savers.
Bagged or boxed donations will be accepted from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the library.
Proceeds from the book sale and clothing drive help fund library programs, according to Friends of Plumb Library.
“We hope to see you there and appreciate support from the community,” an announcement said.
