Geraldine P. (Andrews) Nightlinger, 89, of Fairhaven died Nov. 24 at Sippican Healthcare Center.

She was the wife of the late James L. Nightlinger.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Manuel and Amelia (Britton) Andrews, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Fairhaven 17 years ago.

She enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and cards.

Survivors include four sons, James Nightlinger and his wife Deborah of New York, Larry Nightlinger and his wife Kathleen of Rochester, Steven Nightlinger and his wife Terri of Washington and Brian Nightlinger of New Bedford; two daughters, Jane Faria and her husband Robert of Middleboro and Barbara Barba and her husband Jack of New Bedford; a brother, Kenneth Andrews of Rhode Island; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett. Burial will be private.
