MATTAPOISETT — Creatures of all sorts are welcome to the Mattapoisett Congregational Church on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 9 a.m for a blessing of animals.

The blessing will take place on the lawn of the church during its weekly Sunday morning worship.

A chair or blanket to sit on is recommended.

All well-behaved animals are welcome.
