Gladiator hockey goes 3-1 over weekend

The Squirts beat the Seahawks 5-0 on Saturday. Brayden Hathon opened the scoring, and then in the second period Brayden Cannon and Tommy Clavell extended the lead. John Goll and Clavell then added two more goals in the third period to secure the win. Ryan Killion made 12 saves in the shut out.

The Gladiator Pee Wee team went 1-1 over the weekend, first tying the Cyclones 3-3 on Saturday and then beating the Seahawks 7-0 on Sunday. Ty Rebeiro scored a hat trick during Sunday’s game, with Nate Ribeiro scoring twice, and Thomas Leger and Matthew Paling each one.

The Bantams beat the Canal Sharks 4-1 over the weekend, with Quirino doCanto scoring less than one minute into the game. Tyler Lovendale, Robert Maloney and Will Goldman added the other three goals. Goaltender Alex DeMarco faced 44 shots, stopping an impressive 43 of them.
