On Friday afternoon, kids in Mattapoisett Recreation's gymnastics and tumbling showed off the jumping, balancing, back bending and cartwheeling skills they've learned all season.

Bay State Gymnastics Academy has instructed the kids for the past several years, and will start up a new session in the fall.
