The Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity’s 2^nd Annual Gingerbread House Gala and Silent Auction will be Dec. 4 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Marion Music Hall on Front Street.

The night will feature local choirs singing Christmas carols as well as a selection of wine and beer, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and coffee. There will be a silent auction.

The event will also feature a Gingerbread House Contest. All houses will be auctioned off with proceeds helping local families in need. Entry forms are available online or by calling 508-758-4517. Deadline for entry forms to be submitted is Dec. 1. Prizes will be awarded by category.

All proceeds will support families in need of housing in the local community.

Tickets are a donation of $50 per person and are limited. Reservations are requested by Dec. 1. Children under 18 years of age may come to the event for a $5 donation.
