History, nature to inspire creativity

MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Museum and Mattapoisett Land Trust are teaming up to encourage creativity.
The two organizations will hold an event called “Inspiration: Time and Texture” at the Mattapoisett Museum (5 Church Street) for children ages 5 to 12.
The event will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon on April 16, and will have art materials, nature and museum objects to inspire crafts or to craft with.
Snacks will be provided at the event. The Museum asks that participants sign up ahead of time.
