MATTAPOISETT — The Mattapoisett Police Officers Association is hosting a golf tournament to benefit local charities and community sponsored events. 

The event will be held at the Country Club of New Bedford (585 Slocum Rd, North Dartmouth) at 11:30 a.m.

Registration costs $180 per person and $720 per foursome. The deadline for contest entry is September 22. 

Registration forums can be picked up at 64 County Road or requested through email.

Prizes will be awarded to the winning team, longest drive and more.
