Kindergarten and 1st Grade Co-ed Basketball:

This basketball program is an introduction to the game and will consist of basketball related games designed to keep children active and learning the fundamentals of the game. There are 2 session options:

After School: Thursdays from 3-3:45 p.m.

Evening Session: Wednesdays from 5-5:45 p.m.

Both start in January and run for 6six weeks. The cost is $55 and the registration deadline is December 30. The evening program is open to non-residents. Register online at www.mattrec.net

2nd Grade Co-ed Basketball:

This program is an introduction to game play for boys and girls in second grade. It begins in early January and runs until March. The team will meet on Thursday nights at Center School.

Each player will be assigned to a team and receive a game shirt. Placement night will be Thursday, December 7 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Playoffs are the week of March 1st. The cost is $55 and the registration deadline is November 30. The program is also open to non-residents. Each session of this basketball program will include a half-hour practice and a half-hour game. Register online at www.mattrec.net

Tri-Town Basketball League:

Mattapoisett Recreation and Marion Recreation are combining to offer a Tri- Town Basketball League for Grades 3-6. There will be 3 divisions: Boys Grades 3-4, Boys Grades 5-6, and Girls Grades 3-6.

Mattapoisett residents should register through Mattapoisett Recreation; online sign up is at www.mattrec.net.

Marion residents should sign up through Marion Recreation.

Rochester residents can sign up through either MATTREC or Marion Recreation.

All players will be placed on a team—there will be evaluation sessions held the week of November 6-9. Sign-up deadline is November 2. Parents will be notified of their child's evaluation session after signing up.

Junior High Co-Ed Basketball:

Registration is now open for Junior High Co-Ed Basketball. Registration is at www.mattrec.com.

Games will be on Wednesday evenings, starting in December. The deadline for registration is November 9. The cost of registration is $95. All players will be placed on a team after evaluation session on November 14. Email Mattapoisett Recreation at mattrec@mattapoisett.net with questions.
