John Pina, Jr., 86, of West Wareham, died Dec. 3 at Tobey Hospital. He was the son of the late John and Helen (Silva) Pina.

He was born in New Bedford and lived in Marion and Fairhaven before moving to West Wareham. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Pina worked as a civil engineer at Otis Air Force Base for 32 years before retiring. He enjoyed playing the guitar, model trains and riding his motorcycle. He was a member
of the former Benjamin D. Cushing Post 2425 VWF in Marion.

He is survived by 10 children.

Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery.
