The Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path are inviting the community to participate in the Summer Bike Challenge with other folks on the South Coast.

From now through Labor Day cyclists can log their biking miles (anywhere, anytime) at www.southcoastbikeway.com/challenge. The site will keep track of the total miles each person rides over the summer and tally the miles for each community. More than $1,000 in individual prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the challenge.

The town in the South Coast that rides the most miles per-capita will receive a trophy and bragging rights. Register online.
