Josh Trombly is a first time candidate running for a three-year term on the Rochester School Committee.

In a statement listed on the Rochester Republican Town Committee Website, Trombly pledged “to promote fiscal responsibility.”

He also stated that he aims to prioritize academic excellence” in Old Rochester Regional School District classrooms.

Finally, Trombly wrote that “communication is a challenge.”

He wrote that there are “attempts to inject political ideologies in the classroom” and that the School Committee should “listen to, value, and learn from residents, teachers, and administrators.”
