Rochester — The Town of Rochester issued a “gentle reminder” to dog owners that they are required to license or relicense their pets with the town clerk’s office each year in January.

Should dog owners fail to license their pets by July 1 for a fee of $10 per year ($7 if spayed or neutered), they will be at risk of an additional $25 fee and other legal action, the city warns.
