July activities for kids at Plumb Library
Plumb Library has an eventful summer planned for kids. More information on the following programs can be found on the library website's event calendar.
Star Wars symposium
On July 18 from 10 a.m. to noon, the library will hold a Star Wars symposium with expert Peter Struzziero. Kids 6 and up and their families are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite character for a costume contest. Also bring items for show and tell, learn about the history of Star Wars and join in the trivia challenge. Preregistration is required. This program will be held in the Congregational Church Fellowship Hall.
Wednesday programs
There will be four weeks of Wednesday programs from 10: 30 a.m. to noon. July 8 is the Good Citizen Super Hero 4-H workshop for ages 8 and up. Ages 0 to 6 are invited to Super Kids Play Day on July 15. Rethink Your Drink 4-H workshop will be July 22 for ages 8 and up. July 29, grades kindergarten to four are welcome to Earth's Super Heroes 4-H workshop.
Weekly programs
Mondays, 2 to 5 p.m.: Craft Club for drop-in crafts.
Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to noon: Hometown Hero Hour for ages 3 and up. Pre-registration is required.
Tuesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Minecraft Club for grades 5 and up.
Thursdays, 2 to 5 p.m.: Lego Club drop-in program.
Fridays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Little Heroes Story Time for ages 0 to 4.
Fridays, 2 to 4 p.m.: Fun and Games Friday for ages 6 and older.
Saturdays, 11 to noon: Science Club, ages 3 to 8
