The Mattapoisett Land Trust will host a demonstration workshop on "How to Build and or Restore Stone Walls" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14 on the Mattapoisett Land Trust site of the Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. Preserve, off Prospect Road on Angelica Avenue in Mattapoisett.

Peter Davies has more than 35 years of experience building and restoring walls as craftsperson. Those attending will see his finished work of art and learn how he constructs and designs for the space.

He is also a member of the land trust’s board of directors.

Davies also has restored walls at the Mattapoisett Land Trust "Dunseith Seahorse Garden" property. The workshop will last an hour and a half. Participants should bring sturdy shoes and work gloves.
